First day of school – Saturday, Sept 9, 2017.

Our school was founded by the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) in 1911. Our teachers are professional native Chinese-speakers from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Most have had extensive experiences teaching Chinese in the USA.

Credits earned from our school can be transferred to Portland public schools.

Classes are held on Saturdays from 9:00-12:00, Sept 9, 2017 to May 26, 2018.

Our curriculum focuses on strengthening the ability of our students to listen, speak, read, understand and write Chinese.

We offer the following classes:

• Cantonese – beginning level and high level (use traditional Chinese characters)
• Mandarin Chinese – from kindergarten to level 8 (use simplified Chinese characters)

New student referral – cash award $25.00 per student.

We welcome new students to join us on half way. Tuition fee will be pro rate decrease on the remaining months of our 2017-18 school year.

砵崙中華學校是由波特蘭中華會館創立于一九一一年, 至今己有一百零二年歷史。教師來自台灣, 香港和中國的專業中文教師, 並且擁有在美國中文教學的豐富经驗。

我校是波特蘭公立校區認可外語學分的一家社區中文學校。

每逢星期六早上九至十二點上課。 2017-18學年是由2017年9月9日至2018年5月26日。

課程設計注重聽說寫明白而使學生能獲得實際語言交流枝巧如下:

• 廣東話: 初班和高班級 (採用繁體字教學)
• 普通話: 幼稚園至八年級班 (採用簡體字教學)
